
Dr. Anna Roby is a sports dietitian and exercise physiologist with 10 years of experience helping active women recover from Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs), low energy availability, and hypothalamic amenorrhea. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University before completing a combined PhD in exercise physiology and Registered Dietitian training. Her career has included research at the National Institutes of Health, serving as Chief Research Officer for Athlete Blood Test, and leading a hypothalamic amenorrhea recovery group for professional runners.
Through her private practice, Salt & Pearl, Dr. Roby helps active women restore their energy, rebuild trust in their bodies, and return to training with confidence through evidence-based, individualized nutrition care. Her approach combines a strong foundation in physiology with compassionate, client-centered counseling to support both health and performance.
