I am an elite trail and ultra runner sponsored by The Feed and was a 2016 Olympic Trials marathon qualifier. My degree is in exercise science, with a certification in leadership, and a year of graduate studies in Organizational Leadership. Throughout my athletic career, I have battled both mental and physical health issues, including REDS, ADHD, disordered eating, CPTSD, alcoholism, and many muscle and bone injuries that are a part of the health battles I have faced.
I have been married to my beautiful wife since 2014 and live in the Appalachian Mountains. We have 3 dogs who I consider to be my coworkers. They always remind me of the importance of fueling and taking the time to enjoy the little joys in life.
I have coached female athletes from the ages of 21 through 72 at all ability levels, including elite and NCAA D1 athletes. Among all the women I have coached and partnered with, many have fought their way through both mental and female health struggles, including REDS, ED, missed periods, menopause, aging, PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and panic attacks.
My goal is to use my strengths to help female athletes chase their athletic ceiling! I am an empathetic coach who likes to think outside the box to improve the quality of life for female athletes. I care more about you as a person than you as an athlete!
