I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), with a masters in counseling. I have been in private practice for almost 20 years. I worked at the University of Colorado at Boulder for 10 years, where I helped start their eating disorders program and worked with athletes in all different sports. I practice a non-diet approach to understanding the impact of food choices on mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
My expertise covers eating disorders, digestive health, food allergies, blood sugar management, and more, with a focus on optimal nutrition and a good relationship with food. I help support individuals, including young adults, adolescents and athletes, on their journey to eating disorder recovery. Recognizing the pivotal role parents play, I developed The Eating Disorder Recovery Roadmap for Parents program. This online, self-paced program empowers parents with the knowledge, tools and strategies to actively contribute to their child's healing and recovery. In addition, I have 2 other online programs – College Eating Habits and Preventing Eating Issues aimed at giving individuals the tools to help change their eating behaviors and prevent issues before they take hold.
