Based in Missoula, Montana, Katie Foote is a family nurse practitioner with twelve years of clinical experience. A graduate of Gonzaga University, she has spent the past decade in family practice, where she identified a growing need to address under-fueling and eating disorders in her endurance sport–focused community. Katie is dedicated to helping adolescents and adults understand the impact of training on their physical and emotional health and connecting them with the care they need. Beyond her clinical work, Katie is passionate about educating and empowering fellow healthcare providers to recognize and treat eating disorders and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S). In 2021, she founded the Missoula Eating Disorder Consortium and regularly teaches eating disorder management to nursing, medical, and psychology students. She serves as affiliate faculty at the University of Montana and is currently pursuing her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) credential.
