I work with adolescents, college students, and adults struggling with eating disorders and body image disturbance, trauma, depression, anxiety/OCD, ADHD, and women's issues such as maternal/perinatal mental health. My approach integrates Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Somatic theories, and I am trained in: EMDR, Brainspotting, EX/RP, DBT, FBT, Polyvagal theory, and IFS. I have also completed PSI's Maternal Mental Health certificate course and am passionate about supporting women experiencing pregnancy loss, infertility, and birth trauma, as my own road to motherhood has been complex and painful due to multiple miscarriages, high risk pregnancy, and birth trauma.

I received my Master's (2015) and Doctorate (2019) in Counseling from UNG-Greensboro and have been working with clients since 2015. I have worked with clients in all levels of care (inpatient/residential; PHP/IOP; outpatient) in various settings including treatment hospitals, college counseling centers, and private practice. I also teach at the master's and doctoral levels and provide clinical supervision to counselors-in-training and early career counselors. I hold a specialization in college counseling and student development and love working with adolescents and young adults.

I am a big believer in the magic and wonder of our bodies. My goal is to help my clients develop meaningful relationships with their bodies, food, and movement as part of the changes they make for themselves in therapy.
