Working with many high level athletes and having experience running at collegiate and semi-professional level myself, I know just how important it can feel to do every little thing right. After many years of trying to eat the healthiest I possibly could and ending up injured, tired and burnt out, I learned that many of the things I thought were helping me were actually holding me back. My hope is to help athletes understand that fueling for performance and eating healthy for someone who isn't active are two very different things. For myself and the athletes I work with, enjoying the food you eat, being flexible and taking care of your body go hand-in-hand with better performance.
While I come from an endurance background, I have worked with athletes competing in cross country, track, marathon running, ultra-running, triathlon, jiu jitsu, muay thai, nordic skiing, lacrosse, swimming, hockey, basketball, and golf. I have completed my International Olympic Committee Sports Nutrition Diploma and love to help athletes translate evidence-based nutrition into practical skills that will serve them long after their career is over.
